The octopus restaurant Pulpería Rial is a gastronomic benchmark in the region of Padrón, in the lands of Rosalía de Castro and Camilo José Cela. Camilo José Cela was a regular client on his visits to the town and an expert taster of our signature octopus dish, as is the Castelao Medal, Mr. Pepe Domingo Castaño.

The restaurant has received numerous honours, such as the Pemento de Prata 2006, awarded by Festival of the Herbon Pepper, as well as the Gold Insignia, awarded by the brotherhood Irmandade dos Fillos e Amigos de Padrón. This brotherhood pays tribute to those men and women who devote their lives to improve the interest of the town and the municipality of Padrón.
